Security and privacy are at the core of Apple Pay (and Qonto). For even more security, Apple Pay requires you to authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
How does it work?
When you make a purchase, Apple Pay uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code. So your card number is never stored on your device or on Apple servers.
What should I do when devices are missing or stolen?
From the Apple ID account page, you can suspend or remove the ability to use Apple Pay on your device whenever you want. Just:
Click on the device you want to suspend
Go to the Apple Pay section and click either Remove or Remove all
That's it!
☝️ Good to know: You can also use Find My iPhone to suspend or remove the ability to pay from a device with Apple Pay.
