📌 Before you sign up, please see our capital deposit service eligibility requirements.

When doing a capital deposit with a contribution in kind, the partner can contribute a wide variety of assets.

It can be :

1 - Tangible assets : Vehicle, computer equipments, industrial tools, real estate, land...

2 - Intangible assets: shares, patents or trademarks, for example.

Although this is allowed by law for your incorporation, Qonto cannot support all types of projects containing contributions in kind:

  • Only companies with the legal form SARL, EURL, SAS, SASU can make contributions in kind at Qonto.

  • Contributions in kind are accepted as long as the individual value of each tangible or intangible asset is less than 30,000 euros.

  • The total sum of the contributions in kind must be less than half of the full share capital

💡 Good to know: If you declare contributions in kind when depositing your capital, additional documents may be requested outside the registration process.

Proof of identity required:

  • For a vehicle: the vehicle registration document in your name and/or a certificate of transfer and/or an invoice if available

  • For furniture and equipment: a purchase invoice in your name or in the company's name

  • For computer or telephone equipment: an invoice in your name or in the company's name

  • For industrial equipment (machines, tools): an invoice in your name or in the name of the company

  • For industrial equipment (machines, tools): an invoice in your name or in the company's name

  • For shares in a French company : the company's articles of association (if the company is less than one year old) or the latest balance sheet or tax return

  • For a business: a certificate of transfer or a certificate of the business

  • For commercial premises: a notarial deed of purchase

  • For a business name or trademark: proof from the INPI

Some types of contribution, such as intangible contributions, may require further analysis. We may come back to you to request more information.

☝️ If your contributions are certified by an auditor and fall within the list above, then they will be accepted. If you have an individual contribution of more than 30,000 euros validated by an auditor, then we can accept it after analysis.

✌️ The control of your documents serves to validate the ownership of the contribution and the estimate of its current value indicated in your articles of association. It is therefore essential that the documents are consistent.
