When you receive a new transfer, note that the SEPA standard allows the emitter bank to request a funds recall.
What are the conditions?
- If the account owner entered the wrong amount or IBAN.
- If the transfer has been executed several times by mistake.
How does it work?
When the emitter bank wants to cancel a transfer already credited, our team carefully analyzes the situation. Each of these recalls must be validated by a Qonto account Admin to be executed. Without validation, the transfer won't be canceled and the emitter won’t be refunded.
In case of fraud suspicion
If the emitter bank reports us a fraud suspicion, our team will analyze the situation and validate the transfer cancellation.
